DEPARTMENT OF CSE /IT ENGINEERING , YCET ORGANIZED ONLINE SESSION ON “ENTREPRENEURSHIP”
JAMMU, DEC 28: Department of CSE /IT Engineering, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized “ENTREPRENEURSHIP”. Very knowledgeable and exciting session on 28th December,2020 for CSE/I.T Deptt.
Entrepreneurship (the word “entrepreneur” comes from the French verb entreprendre, meaning “to undertake”) is the ability and readiness to develop, organize and run a business enterprise, along with any of its uncertainties in order to make a profit. It’s about building a life on your own terms. No bosses. No restricting schedules. And no one holding you back.
The Session began with welcome address by Er. Dinesh Gupta (HOD CSE /IT Engineering Department, President of IIC Cell of YCET). Dr. Vijayendra Singh Sankhla ,presently he is working as Post of Associate Professor and IIC Ambassador at GEETANJALI INSTITUTUTE of technical Studies. He has 12 years of teaching experience.He has more than 25 publications in his name in various science direct, Scopus and International Journals..He has done his PhD in Renewable energy engineering from MPUAT, Udaipur which is best university in North india in the field of renewable energy engineering. He is now working as vice head and M. Tech coordinator in the department of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Vijayendra Singh Sankhla briefed the students how to become an Entrepreneur. He gave an example of Thomas Edison that he has done more than 100 experiments to develop the light bulb. Edison believed that to discover a good idea you had to generate many ideas, so in order to become the entrepreneur there is need of Viability ( Ability to work & survive) ,Desirability( Ability to Generate Demand) and Feasibility( Ability to be Conveniently done). Further , Dr. Vijayendra Singh Sankhla told that it is not easy task to build an Entrepreneurship because in this we have to think 24 hrs to develop new innovation ideas. The students were fortunate that they have got the chance to attend this session for increasing their knowledge and creative extravagance along with the expert. The guests remained highly commemorative of the efforts for organizing session.
