Department of Mechanical, YCET, organized a plantation drive as a obligation towards Community Initiative practices. The drive has been organized keeping in view of combating climate change and focusing on achieving sustainable developmental goals. Er. B.R. Verma, chief coordinator, YCET, said that climate change is a global problem and every citizen has the responsibility to overcome this problem. One of the easiest ways to solve this problem is the plantation of saplings. Er. K.R. Sharma from Mechanical Engineering Department mentioned the importance of social responsibility. It was a successful event in which faculty and especially workshop staff participated with full zeal. Er. Neeraj Pandita, HOD, Mechanical applauded the efforts of the department and their commitment towards Corporate Social Responsibility.
