Dec 3, 2021: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology ( YCET ) organized online induction programme using Zoom platform for the students of 1st and 3rd semester of all streams. Prof. ( Dr. ) A. K. Srivastava, Director YCET welcomed the gathering and highlighted the significance of engineering disciplines and their relevance in the contemporary times.

The first speaker of the day was Mohd. Yaseen Kichloo, SSP Security, Civil Sect. who gave the brief introduction on “Cyber Security”. In his session he revealed important information about Cyber Security i.e to protect systems connected to the internet from threats in cyberspace. It involves protecting software, data, and hardware and helps prevent cybercriminals from gaining access to devices or the networks. Next the stage was progressed by Er. Yuvraj, IIC Innovation Ambassador. He explained about the Innovation and its techniques and further the session was followed by Er. Rajnish, HOD ( Civil Engg. ) who enlightened the students about the importance of entrepreneurship. Er Robin Kumar gave important information about the Intellectual Property Rights i.e legal rights that protect creations and/or inventions resulting from intellectual activity in the industrial, scientific, literary or artistic fields. Er. Dinesh Gupta, Dean Academics & President, IIC Cell briefed about IIC Cell, and discussed about innovation cell of National Institute of Science and Technology to nurture research projects and startups. At the end Prof. Emeritus Dr. Al-Dabass of Nottingham Trent University, U.K. addressed the students and congratulated them for starting the new phase of life.

. Er. Dinesh Gupta, HOD (Computer Science & Engineering ) thanked all the dignitaries, committee heads, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff for their support and cooperation.
